One thing that makes me different from other people.

Prompt Response: One thing that makes me different from other people is that I like to write poetry. A lot of the people my age, in this generation, are. into technology and rather post on instagram or TikTok. I do enjoy technology as well but I also enjoy writing poetry and I think, along with music it is a great way to get your feelings out. Summary: To be nobody is to be different, while to be somebody is to be normal. Reflection: I learned how to analyze a poem

An adventure I would like to go on.

Prompt Response:   I would like to go on an adventure stargazing and to see meteor showers. These two would me my choices because I am not really a hiking, type of nature person and this doesn't require being around too much bugs. I would also choose this because I find astrology interesting. Summary: Reflection:

The most creative thing I have ever made.

Prompt Response:  The most creative thing I have ever made was a poem about women in this society. This is probably my best work because usually I just draw people and make pipe cleaner flowers and even other types of poems but this stood out because it was meaningful to me and I connected with it deeply. It also stood out to me because I read it to someone else and they also felt it was deep and manful and cried which meant a lot to me.

Burning questions about life.

Prompt Response:  One of my burning questions is does anyone ever truly know their purpose and if someone was born with a different name than what they got would they be different. My first question matters to me because I think knowing your purpose is very important. My second question matters to me because I want to know if your name has an influence on you and how you are as a person.

Native American Literature, Kinship

Prompt Response: A time I felt kinship with nature is when I go to New York. The squirrels come up to people sometimes and people feed them and it's a normal occurrence. I feel as if this is kinship because usually people shoo squirrels away, ignore them, or the squirrels are scared of them but my example shows a peaceful interaction. This is also kinship because it's an example of a non domesticated animal being treated as we treat dogs, cats, etc. Another example is with the pigeons, which are fed just like the squirrels. Summary: Today's lesson was about Native American Literature and origin myths. Reflection:  Today I learned the different characteristics of an origin myth and the definition of allusion.
